Students at Elmbridge Primary School have launched a brand-new podcast, “Elmbridge Echo,” aimed at celebrating the community around them. With weekly interviews featuring local business owners, firefighters, artists, and even the mayor, the show is completely produced by Year 6 pupils — from scripting to sound editing. “We’re learning about journalism, technology, and how to ask good questions,” said 11-year-old presenter Max. The podcast has already gained over 500 subscribers on Spotify and is quickly becoming a must-listen for locals.
